OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Promotion of eco-friendly local tours and activities, available to be booked through our on-site tour desk.
As part of our initiative to reduce single-use plastics throughout the entire guest experience, we have made a significant decision to eliminate single-use dry amenities, taking a bold step towards a plastic-free environment. We understand the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. By removing single-use plastic amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps from our guest rooms, we are significantly reducing our environmental footprint. We have also made a noteworthy change to incorporate large format amenities including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, thereby resulting in a waste reduction of almost 50%.
We exclusively use room key cards that are made of bamboo.
Our hotel car park has 5 EV charge points installed – Two Tesla and three Destination Porsche charging stations for our guests
All bin liners are made of an eco-friendly biodegradable material.
As a part of our commitment to a sustainable future, Pullman Cairns International has replaced all single use water bottles in our rooms to reusable & refillable glass water bottles.
In room educational materials promoting towel & bedding reuse, as well as guidance on responsible use of amenities.
